Description: The 3131 Lake City Way film studios, located in Burnaby, BC, is a six-story building with a three-story underground parking structure. The main use of the studios is to provide 21 sound stages for the film industry, along with support spaces, production offices, restaurants, a cafe, and a gym. The development is spread over 1.3 million sq. ft and was reported to be the largest film studio development in Canada in 2022, according to the Vancouver Daily Hive. Yasi led the design team for this project and was responsible for overseeing the Preliminary Plan Approval (PPA), Development Permit, Building Permit, and Bidding and Negotiations phases.
